Purest white impossibly stark it's finally so quiet. The seas stars the brilliantly crystal clear cold - I've never experienced such warmth. All the noblest parts of solitude are found here, now. In the choir of the sky I've found it - A joy, a peace I hear those melodies in colors I forgot existed. He taught light to dance, to sing - a ballet no sinew could match Feiseanna so achingly resplendent that burst open are the doors to the inner man. Arias no voice could articulate Oratorios suffused with such joy they storm the seat of the soul, dethroning the infinitesimal I and decree that naught but praise issue forth.

Unseen Sentinel watching our weak wailing ways then baptizing himself in the icy, silent nuumite sea - Ashamed pondering if we are even worth shepherding. Speaking in Black and Blue but seen in Black and White. "No darkness in light," you say- but what of the twilight? And what of the night? Can you shame Sirius? Can you blame Benetnasch? Dare you deny the dusk? Ought you damn the dawn? You've missed the moonbow and bypassed bioluminescence. You've fled from fireflies and avoided aurora. How sad it must be to be blind to complexity while you wantonly wield Occam's worn razor.

Fatigué, j'en suis certain. Comfort in my silver shroud, each drop a thread as I put the crown of rolling gray in my head- the fogbow in ma coeur (core?). Raining in fall, Reigning in Fall- does the difference matter? Paix in pace that is a bit more my own, an expectation of expectation...without expectancy. Kairos and Chronos carry hope in a misty veil. (I'm pretty sure it's hope, though the thing that separates d'espoir et désespoir is the [mis]understood s[t]igma.) Oh, in all of this... Would I could be the darkness over the sea, with the Spirit above and the deep beneath- tossed about on the waves of righteousness.

The Plague of Plenty Pursues not the poor but Ravishes the rich. Coffers to Coffins they fall, the Worm taking worth's place and Flames embracing their fickle fancies. Silver spoons become sour sewage and glittering gold turns to gloomy gall. Callous magnates lay prostrate before the King of Maggots and playboys become playthings for the Prince of Pointlessness. No help can be found for the antithesis of Lazarus. No grinder so great so as to make the camel's meat fit through the needle's eye. No cedar so supple so as to dissuade the merciless Moth who torments treasures worth less than nothing.

The Lady of the Sea plays her violin for me. The Lady of the Sky swings her sword while I sail by. The Lady of Fire lights a path through the mire, while the Lady of Frost counsels me to count the cost. I've been a long time admirer of the amazing works of art on deviantART and the fantastically imaginative artists behind them, and decided to try joining the community. I'm a nerdy, soft-spoken guy living in the Southeast that occasionally dabbles in poetry. I don't have formal training in creative writing, but I have a profound appreciation for words and find wordsmithing to be both cathartic and stabilizing. I love seeing the innermost part of someone expressed in their creative work and the inspiration it engenders in others.
